VIDEO: Geelong man mows the lawn during savage storm

Geelong was lashed by wild storms last night, but that didn’t stop a Grovedale man from mowing the nature strip!

Kim snapped the footage from her front door while savage weather caused flooding in the street.

“We got 30mm in 20 minutes in Geelong,” she told Neil Mitchell.

“It was horizontal rain, thunder rumbling, and the lightning flashing every 20 seconds.

“We were just watching it out the front door and our neighbour across the road decided it was a good time to chuck his hat on and mow the lawn!”

Kim says it’s not the first time she’s spotted her neighbour mowing at unusual times – she’s also seen him mowing with a headtorch on at night!
