VIDEO: Car on fire near petrol station in Melbourne’s southeast

A car caught fire in Moorabbin on Friday.

The blaze took place near Costco petrol station on Chifley Drive.

The video below was captured by Simon Johnson:

Simon told Nick McCallum it could have ended very badly.

“It was only metres away from a petrol bowser,” he said.

Simon said it took some time for firefighters to put the fire out.
