Victorian woman cleared of COVID-19 dies from complications
Victoria has recorded its first COVID-19 death in more than a month.
The DHHS confirmed the sad news on Monday.
Sadly, a person who had been previously cleared of coronavirus had died from complications relating to their original diagnosis.
The woman, aged in her 70s, was diagnosed in late July and cleared as an active case in late September.
There were no new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the past 24 hours.
