Victorian town says it has been left to fend for itself as flood disaster looms
The town of Charlton says it has been ignored by the State Emergency Service with another devastating flood on its hands.
“The SES are missing in action,” Daryl Warren, Mayor of Buloke Shire, told Neil Mitchell on Friday.
He said he feared it was going to be “2011 again” – where floodwater consumed the town on the Avoca River.
