WORD ON THE STREET: A prominent home building company has gone into liquidation. 

Steve alerted 3AW Drive to the news that jobs will be lost around 3:15pm on Tuesday.

The company is Victorian based residential home builder Watersun Homes and has appointed voluntary administrators.

The residential home builder has 300 projects across both Melbourne and regional parts of the state, with 90 fulltime jobs to be lost.

All staff were informed today.

Administrators are now seeking expressions of interest for the sale of all or some of the business assets.
