Victoria ‘should jump’ at electric car industry opportunity

Adelaide is set to lose an electric car manufacturing hub funded by British billionaire Sanjeev Gupta.

And Neil Mitchell says Victoria should be jumping at the opportunity.

The Mayor of Greater Geelong agrees.

“It’s a brilliant idea,” Bruce Harwood told Neil Mitchell.

“We’ve got a skilled workforce down here and an automotive plant that could be retrofitted accordingly.”
