Victoria Police reveal they’ve seized over four tonnes of illegal cannabis this year
Police have uncovered almost 80 cannabis grow houses so far this year, the latest discovered during raids in Melbourne’s south east.
Detectives swooped on two homes on Tangerine and Harrington Drives at Narre Warren South, and a third on Thwaites Road Pakenham early on Thursday morning.
A 47-year-old Hallam man was also found hiding inside an alleged crop house on Harrington Drive.
He’ll face cultivation charges in court later this month.
The effort takes the total amount of cannabis seized this year to more than four tonnes.
