Victoria Cross recipient Mark Donaldson’s ‘unexpected’ meeting with the King

Victoria Cross recipient Mark Donaldson has spoken on his “unexpected” meeting with the King, ahead of his coronation on Saturday.

Corporal Donaldson is in the United Kingdom at the moment, and claimed the King remembered who he was from a previous meeting.

“It was an amazing opportunity to meet the King and say hello,” Corporal Donaldson told Neil Mitchell.
