Victim’s sister pleads for Premier to reconsider Paul Denyer bill
The sister of one of the women killed by serial killer Paul Denyer has spoken publicly for the first time, pleading with the Premier to reconsider a decision not to back a bill to keep the killer from applying for parole.
The older sister of Natalie Russell, Lisa Knight, says she’s decided to speak out now, 30 years after her sister’s death, because the family is “really, really upset”.
“We’re very confused, we’re very distressed and we can’t understand why Premier Daniel Andrews isn’t willing to sign the bill to never release Paul Charles Denyer again,” she told Neil Mitchell.
