Victim of horrific McKinnon home invasion speaks out

A McKinnon family has been the victim of a horrific home invasion, which resulted in one member of the family taking matters into his own hands.

The thieves broke into their home at about 1am on Tuesday morning, taking keys and stealing two cars.

Dani told Jacqui Felgate her 19-year-old son followed the alleged offenders through the streets of Elsternwick and onto the Nepean Highway, before the vehicles they were in collided.

“This is supposed to be the lucky country – we don’t feel very lucky at the moment,” she said on 3AW Drive.
