‘Utter nonsense’: Tom Elliott reacts to state government’s proposed tax on Airbnb

Tom Elliott listened with interest to Neil Mitchell’s show this morning, surrounding the state government’s proposed tax on Airbnb, which could be up to 7.5 per cent.

The state government claim the move is all about social housing, which the 3AW Drive host said is “utter nonsense”.

“Taxing one form of housing to try and fix another form of housing, to me doesn’t make any sense,” he said.
