Merrilee Rush sings her ’60s hit (and happy birthday) to Russel

Our very own Russel Howcroft is having a birthday on Sunday, and the 3AW Breakfast team organised a special surprise for him!

Russ is a big fan of Merrilee Rush’s ’60s track ‘Angel Of The Morning’.

So the team got the American musician to record a birthday message for Russel, including a snippet of her singing the hit (and singing happy birthday, of course!).
