‘Unfairly criticised’: Darebin Council CEO says they are ‘absolutely’ celebrating Christmas

Darebin Council has received backlash for refraining from using the word “Christmas” in their December campaigns, opting for the tagline “Darebin Celebrates”.

Darebin City Council CEO Michael Tudball joined 3AW Drive to detail why the Darebin Council aren’t using the word “Christmas” as part of their campaigns.

“We are absolutely celebrating Christmas, we’ve got Christmas trees, we’ve got reindeers,” Michael Tudball said on 3AW Drive.
