Two people found dead with gunshot wounds on the Mornington Peninsula

Two people have died at a home in Rye earlier this morning.

An altercation reportedly occurred between a group of people shortly after 4am this morning.

Police then located a man and a woman with gunshot wounds.

It’s believed they were known to each other.

A crime scene has been established while detectives investigate to determine what occurred.
