Two people arrested after shots fired at Preston police impound yard
UPDATE: Two people have been arrested over Tuesday night’s shooting at the Victoria Police Impound Yard.
Several shots were fired at the Preston police facility which houses vehicles seized by police.
The bullets smashed windows and pierced the exterior of the building, but the two staff members inside were not injured.
Force command is now looking into whether security at the facility should be upgraded.
Investigators, including detectives from the anti-bikie taskforce, have since carried out raids, seizing another couple of cars and arresting two people.
No charges have been laid.
