Two members of the Channel Nine broadcast team attacked in Paris ahead of the Olympics

Australian athletes, officials and media alike are being urged to take extra safety precautions, after two members of the Nine Network’s broadcast team were attacked in Paris.

Nine reporter Christine Ahern is in Paris and had the full details on the concerning story.

“This is cause for concern for everyone, just not us here at Channel Nine,” Ms Ahern said.

She also commented on the terrible story of a 25-year-old Australian woman, who told authorities she was raped by five men in the French capital on the weekend.
