Two killed in crash at Truganina

Two people have been killed in a multi-vehicle smash at Truganina.

A family was travelling in a Mazda on Hopkins road around 6am on Thursday when police believe a ute travelling ahead clipped an oncoming truck – triggering a series of collisions.

A 19-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the smash, with her parents the two people killed.

Two other teenage siblings, who weren’t in the car, have since been informed of the tragedy.

A male truck driver was also taken to hospital in a stable condition.
