Truckie says thanks to good Samaritans who came to his aid after fire

A truck driver wants to say thank you to two good Samaritans who came to his aid after the skip on the back of his truck came to his aid.

A grateful Michael reached out to Neil Mitchell in a bid to track down the men, especially the man who used his own fire extinguisher to help put out the fire before fire crews arrived.

‘All of a sudden I see the bin was ignited,’ he said.

Michael had pulled over on the corner of St George’s Road and Miller Street in Preston.
