Truck load standing upright on Princes Fwy causes delays back to Toorak Rd

A truck has hit a bridge outbound on the Princes Freeway in Altona, leaving its trailer standing upright in the middle of the road.
The accident in Altona at Dohertys Road occurred just before 1pm.
Only one lane of traffic is getting through, with delays stretching back through the tunnel.
Chris Miller from Vic Roads says peak hour has been thrown into chaos-as crews move to release the semi and trailer.
“We’ve got cranes and heavy haulage on site but unfortunately there’s only one lane getting through, pushing traffic back over the West Gate Bridge, through the Domain Tunnel, until around Toorak Road on the Monash,” he said.
