‘Too far’: Tom Elliott launches strong Tony Jones defence after more criticism

Tom Elliott has launched a staunch defence of colleague Tony Jones after he came under fire from Serbian Davis Cup coach Viktor Troicki.
Following comments Jones made on a broadcast about Novak Djokovic, Troicki said the Nine News presenter shouldn’t be allowed to work in tennis again.
But Tom said he was off the mark, re-affirming his view that Jones’ playful mocking of Djokovic fans was nothing more than a misunderstood joke.
