Tony Shaw says decision on the AFL’s next Legend is a ‘no brainer’

Debate has raged on 3AW as to whether or not Kevin Sheedy should be made an AFL Legend.

Tim Lane said neither Sheedy’s record as a coach nor as a player stands out enough to qualify him for Legend status.

But Tony Shaw said naming Sheedy a Legend is a “no brainer”.

“You’re talking about someone who’s had an impact on so many different levels, no one else has matched that,” Shawry said.

Caroline Wilson said Sheedy stands apart when you factor in his longevity and innovation.
