Tony Shaw lauds Mark Maclure’s courage after dementia diagnosis

Tony Shaw has lauded Mark Maclure’s courage this afternoon, after it was revealed the Carlton great has been diagnosed with early signs of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Maclure is working at the Carlton and Hawthorn match today at the MCG, and Shaw thought it was important to mention off the top of the 3AW Football broadcast.

“Ripper bloke and I think everybody in the footy world wants to wish him all the best,” Shaw said.
