Tony Shaw and Matthew Richardson raise the issue surrounding this year’s Coleman Medal chase

Tony Shaw and Matthew Richardson have both raised the issue surrounding this year’s Coleman Medal chase.
Charlie Curnow currently sits on top with with 61 goals, but Shaw took issue with sides playing West Coast twice and capitalising on the Eagles’ lackluster defence in 2023.
Curnow has kicked 19 goals against West Coast this year, with Shaw going as far to put an “asterisk” on this year’s Coleman Medal winner, but later retracted the comment.
Richardson agreed with Shaw that it is an issue with so many goals getting kicked against the Eagles, but thought the asterisk comment went a “bit far”.
