Tones and I on The Matildas and her FIFA Women’s World Cup gig

Tones and I has been revealed as the performing act for the FIFA Women’s World Cup closing ceremony.

The Victorian singer-songwriter says she wasn’t aware at first she had been picked.

“We did a Zoom call … and then at the end … they were like ‘Yeah so you’ll be coming on stage’ and I was like ‘Wait you guys want me to do it’?” she told Jacqui Felgate.
