Tom McDonald’s one simple goal heading into 2024 season

Tom McDonald says he’s playing stress-free footy for the first time in years, saying he’s enjoying the game after largely overcoming his recent injury issues.

The Melbourne footballer has played every game this season, largely putting an end to his injury troubles.

He told 3AW Breakfast he had one simple goal coming into the 2024 season.

“I’ve just enjoyed playing footy and not being injured over the last couple of years,” he told Ross and Russ.

“My goal this season was to have the most enjoyable season of my career – whether that was playing AFL or VFL.”
