Tom Elliott’s ideas to help solve Victoria’s housing problem
Tom Elliott has thrown up some ideas which could help solve Victoria’s housing problem, with the latest statistics not making good reading for the Allan government’s housing strategy.
The target of building 80,000 homes a year over the next decade in the state seems to be falling well short, with the Australian Bureau of Statistics releasing new data, stating slightly under 56,000 homes were built in the last 12 months.
“Victoria’s housing woes appear to be getting worse,” the 3AW Mornings host said.
