Tom Elliott speaks with Kelly O’Dwyer about proposed ‘Google tax’ in Australia
The federal government has got multi-national companies like Apple and Google in its sights.
And Tom Elliott’s surprised they’re not ‘shouting from the rooftop’ about it.
They’re proposing to crack down on how they’re taxed.
‘We are implementing this new tax in Australia to make sure that large multi-national pay the right amount of tax on the profits they make in Australia,’ stand-in treasurer Kelly O’Dwyer told Tom Elliott on Wednesday.
