Tom Elliott reveals why bringing politics to customer facing jobs is ‘stupid’

Tom Elliott has called the actions of two girls stupid, after they wore keffiyehs while working at a pastry shop in the Chadstone Shopping Centre, cost them their jobs.

He says while they are jobs where you can bring your political views, but customer facing jobs aren’t included in that.

“If your job is to make coffee for people … you are an absolute idiot to bring your politics to work,” he said.
