Tom Elliott responds to latest ‘dim-witted idea’ from The Greens

The Greens have called for Australia’s defence budget to be slashed in half, arguing the nation should rely on “effective communication” to prevent military threats.

Tom Elliott says they’re delusional.

“It is just unbelievable,” the 3AW Drive host said on Wednesday.

“The Greens live in this fantasy world where they think that if we just lay down our arms, the rest of the world will just be nice to us and we’ll never have a war again!

“Have the Greens not studied history?”
