Tom Elliott questions role of police at music festivals during pill testing trial
Tom Elliott is wondering what role the police play at major music festivals as the state government prepares to trial pill testing in the coming months.

“At most music festivals there are police officers present,” Tom said on 3AW.
“What do the police do…there’s a pill testing van and let’s just say there’s two dozen young people queued up outside of it. Every one of those people by definition are carrying illegal drugs and police have to look at them and think ‘what do we do’.”
