Tom Elliott has questioned Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan on the state government’s gas policy backflip as well as the future of the Suburban Rail Loop.

Victoria’s net zero road map has excluded gas cooktops, with Allan telling the 3AW Mornings host “we’ve always been really, really clear that gas has a role to play”.

“This policy doesn’t sound like it’s changed at all,” Elliott then said.
