Tom Elliott has outlined what needs to be done to make Melbourne “attractive” again, as local council elections fast approach.

Lord mayoral candidate Nick Reece wants to reform fringe benefits tax, while candidate Arron Wood wants to bring back the Melbourne Money scheme, two ideas which the 3AW Mornings host thinks are “ill-thought-out”.

“This is not what Melbourne needs,” he said.
