Tom Elliott hits back at calls for shark cull

Tom Elliott has hit back at calls for a nation-wide shark cull.

It follows a spate of recent shark attacks, mainly in Queensland.

“Sharks are part of the natural environment,” Tom Elliott said.

“You make a choice when you jump into the ocean.”

However, Queensland MP Keith Pitt says action needs to taken.

“They are in plague proportions and need to be thinned out,” he said.
