Tom Elliott grills Josh Frydenberg on 3AW Drive over Australian gas prices

The government says it’s up to energy companies, not them, to decide how much Australians pay for gas.

Tom Elliott questioned the minister for energy, Josh Frydenberg, on Tuesday about the issue.

The 3AW Drive host can’t understand why Australians are paying more for gas produced here than other countries which imported gas from here.

‘It’s up to the companies to sell the gas as they see appropriate, whether that’s domestic or international,’ Mr Frydenberg said.
