Tom Elliott features in a book about boomer gripes!

Something Tom Elliott said on-air years ago has made it’s way into a book about boomer gripes!

Author Michael Thornton has released a book entitled Pissed Off – 3,300 Baby Boomer Gripes, and Tom hasn’t escaped his sights.

“Number 400 is you,” he told Tom Elliott on 3AW Drive.

“And it quotes you from a couple of years ago when you said ‘Me and my friends used to’ twice in five minutes!”

The correct grammar is ‘My friends and I’.

Tom said he regrets the mistake.

“My late mother would have been very upset if she heard me say that.”
