Tom Elliott endorses bold proposal to shut off CBD electronic billboards at night

Tom Elliott has endorsed a bold plan to completely shut off LED billboards in the city during the middle of the night in order to cut light pollution.

The City of Melbourne is looking at a proposal, which includes turning off the bright signs from midnight to sunrise during the week.

“I don’t mind the idea,” Tom said on 3AW Mornings.

“The city is a lot brighter than it used to be.”
