Tom Elliott and economist debate constant cash rate rises

Tom Elliott and a senior economist at the ANZ have discussed the latest interest rate rise from the Reserve Bank. The cash rate is now 4.1 per cent.

“I think they’re doing enormous damage,” Tom Elliott said of the RBA on Tuesday.

But Adelaide Timbrell from the ANZ said inflation needed to be curbed and rate rises were the “lesser” of two evils.
