Police  have arrested three people as the search for two Perth brothers and their friend continues after they went missing in Mexico.

Jake and Callum Robinson as well as friend Jack Rhoad vanished in the Baja California region earlier this week, sparking a desperate search for the three men.

Nine News US correspondent Alison Piotrowski, who is on the ground in Mexico, told Ross and Russ authorities weren’t giving much away after speaking with media.

“We have been talking to the Baja Attorney General who is in charge of overseeing this investigation and she was very tight-tipped this morning,” she said on 3AW Breakfast.

“There is simply things she cannot tell us because they haven’t found these men.”
