Three men wanted over violent armed robbery in Glen Iris

Police are ramping up the search for three men, wanted over a violent armed robbery in Glen Iris.

The victim was confronted by three men who got out of a dark coloured Toyota Coupe on High Street around midnight Friday.

They’ve pushed him to the ground before marching him to a Gardener Creek Trail footbridge, leaning him over the railing and threatening him with a broken bottle.

The men demanded he empty his pockets, taking off with his key and driving west along High Street towards Malvern.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

Police have today released descriptions of all three men – two Caucasian, the other middle Eastern in appearance and are calling on witnesses to come forward.
