Three charged over alleged hospital brawl

Three men have been charged following a brawl at Northern Hospital.

Violence erupted when police and security attempted to block three men from entering the Epping hospital to see a relative who had reportedly died from COVID-19.

A fight then allegedly broke out, leaving two police officers and three security guards injured.

All had to be treated for their injuries.

Three Roxburgh Park men, aged 38, 41, and 47, have been charged with a number of violent offences.

They’ll face court at a later date.
