Thousands of VCE students wake up to their final results

VCE students will get their final results this morning.

The average ATAR for the class of 2022 is 70.33, higher than last year’s average while the state was gripped by lockdowns.

Girls have outperformed boys, posting an average score of 71.23, but 31 male students achieved the perfect score of 99.95.

Scott Sweeney, Head of VCE at Strathcona Girls Grammar, told 3AW there was always help available for students who miss the mark.
