Thirteen injured in violent altercation at a Traralgon aged care home
Thirteen people were injured after a resident in an aged care home in Traralgon lashed out in a series of violent assaults in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police have confirmed emergency services were called to reports of a man assaulting people at the facility at about 1.30am.
The 78-year-old man was taken to hospital for assessment.
Two other residents — a 72-year-old woman and a 92-year-old woman — were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the attacks.
Ten other residents and one staff member were treated by paramedics at the scene.
