‘They went through the roof’: Passenger on LATAM flight details frightening experience

A passenger who was on a LATAM flight from Sydney to Auckland, which suffered a technical difficulty two-thirds into the flight, has spoken out this morning.

Brian Jokart revealed he had just dozed off when the plane suddenly dropped.

“Next thing I knew there was no announcement, no turbulence. The plane just abruptly dropped and then the nose just started heading down.” he told Ross and Russ.

He also says passengers flew from their seats, with many hitting the ceiling.

“Someone hit so hard, they went right through the roof.” he said.
