They did it! Balnarring under-10s lift for massive upset win

As the saying goes – a week is a long time in football!

Last week, the Balnarring under-10s were featured on 3AW Mornings for their unfortunate run this season.

They were regularly thrashed and the kids were feeling a bit down.

Well, they won this weekend! And in dramatic fashion.

They defeated Mt Martha by two points, kicking the winning goal right on the final siren.

Last time they played, Mt Martha won by 15 goals.

“It was just incredible – I thought I had the wrong team on the ground,” coach Matt Keogh said on 3AW.

“They played their guts out!”
