‘They deserve to know’: Australians left in the dark over road safety funding
There are concerns that state governments might be suppressing crucial data on road safety.
Managing director of the Australian Automobile Association, Michael Bradley, claims that each state and territory knows the risk-rating of each road but won’t share it with the public.
“That information is not in the public domain and it needs to be,” Mr Bradley told Neil Mitchell.
