There are calls for an ‘Australia Long Weekend’ instead of Australia Day.

Retired barrister and community activist Phil Jenkyn joined 3AW Mornings to talk about his proposal to diffuse Australia Day.

“I don’t want to celebrate on a date that causes pain for people anymore,” Jenkyn said on 3AW Mornings.
