The world-first app that could help sleep workers get more sleep
A world-first app developed by Monash University researchers is helping shift workers to get more sleep.
An initial trial of the SleepSync app found workers slept an average of 29 minutes longer each night.
The app provides sleep timing recommendations which take work and social obligations into account, and researcher with Monash University’s Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health, Jade Murray, says “the key is that we recognise the need to personalise interventions for shift workers”.
