SEEING THE FIRST ‘STAR WARS’ FOR THE FIRST TIME

With everybody talking all things Star Wars thanks to the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the team at The Weekend Break thought it was high time our producer, Jessie Aiton, got with the program.

Remarkably, and like many of her fellow Gen-Yers, Jessie had never seen the original 1977 Star Wars film.

So as part of our Classic Exposure series, where we get her to watch classic films she has never seen and review them with fresh eyes, we sent Jessie off to a galaxy far, far away to see what she thought of the 40-year old George Lucas film that introduced the world to a new universe.
