The three star players Matthew Lloyd tried to get to Essendon during his playing days

Matthew Lloyd has stated on the latest episode of the 3AW Football trade podcast that there were three star players which he tried to recruit to Essendon during his playing days.

Matt Granland asked Lloyd if there were any secret deals which went on, which prompted Lloyd to explain which players were are the forefront of his and also head coach Kevin Sheedy’s minds.

“I’ve had a shocking record in trying to attract players,” Lloyd said.
