The three behaviours that are the key to achieving weight loss success
It’s the time of year where we reset and set goals for the year ahead…
And one of the most common resolutions is to lose weight.
The CSIRO has examined the weight loss journeys of 11,000 people and revealed there are three critical behaviours that help people lose weight.
“Tracking food intake using an online tracker, following a menu plan and weighing in weekly were the three key behaviours,” CSIRO Total Wellbeing Dietitian, Pennie McCoy told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Tom Elliott.
People who engaged in those three behaviours achieved an average of 8.1 per cent weight-loss over 12 weeks, compared to 3.3 per cent weight loss for those who didn’t engage in the behaviours.
